WHY LONDON STRENGTH?
Strength Community Done Right
London Strength was founded by Kristian McPhee as a way to bring together the best coaches in London. Weightlifting has seen as huge growth in participation in the past decade but very little in the way of better clubs and strength communities in the London area. We are here to change this.
Our community comprises of a "leave your ego at the door" and an open mind approach to training. With our performance results speaking for themselves through our sister club Brunel Weightlifting, the British records and international lifters, national champions and recognition from British Weightlifting.

You are in good hands to learn how to lift - whether you want to learn the correct technique or win a medal on the national stage!

IAIN COULING
Coach
I’ve been in the sport of weightlifting now for 10/12 years my first exposure to the lifts were in S&C sessions in rugby then taking the sport up fully after 2 major injuries that stoped me playing rugby.
I’ve been very fortunate that I’ve learnt/studied under some of the best coaches in the country starting first with Giles Greenwood, then spending time with Keith Morgan and the team at Crystal Palace and then meeting Mehmed Fikretov who has been the biggest influence and mentors to my lifting and coaching
Fav lift - snatch but definitely learning to love the clean and jerk it’s a been a journey 😂
Why you like Olympic weightlifting - like is a strong word 😂 for me out of all the sports I’ve competed in this has been the biggest test for me physically, emotionally and mentally and tests me very session which I love most of all
